- The Cooper Center for Healing
The Center for Healing is Cooper University Health Care’s division of Addiction Medicine, offering compassionate, evidence-based, and low-barrier addiction care for those across South Jersey struggling with substance use disorders. Through its various programs, the Center offers innovative care for special populations, such new or soon-to-be mothers, older adults, those in the carceral system, and others.
In a collaboration with the Rowan-Virtua NeuroMusculoskeletal Institute, the Center for Healing administers the Southern New Jersey Medications for Addiction Treatment Center of Excellence, a comprehensive resource for health care providers across South Jersey interested in providing excellent addiction care.
The Center for Healing provides a wide range of services, including:
Hospital inpatient consultation
Outpatient substance use disorder consultation
Program for pregnant or parenting individuals struggling with substance use
Full coverage services for SUD and mental health for uninsured and underinsured people, including those who are unhoused
