Cooper has a number of opportunities for involvement within the institution and with various organizations as part of Cooper’s Community Health initiatives. Opportunities include participating in health screenings, providing education and serving as mentors for high school and college students.
Quality Improvement
Residents receive education in Lean Six Sigma through the staff of the Process Improvement Office. There is an opportunity to be involved with a number of quality improvement and patient safety projects within the department or at the institution level. The Housestaff Patient Safety Council has representation from multiple programs.
