The talents I would bring to residency are shaped by both my passion and my experiences. Over the past year and a half, I’ve found my strengths to be in the clinic and during rounds, where I build strong connections with patients. My ability to communicate complex medical information in a clear and compassionate way allows me to form rapport with patients, ensuring that they feel heard and understood throughout their treatment process. My passion for surgery was sparked by my love for creating art, and I hope to bring those artistic talents into the operating room. Furthermore, my experience in managing diverse patient populations such as Harlem, Philadelphia and Camden has sharpened my cultural competence, preparing me to care for individuals from all walks of life
