The Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program at Cooper University Hospital participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and all information is processed through this system without exception. Information regarding the ERAS application process and timeline is available on the website below. All positions will be offered through NRMP; participation with National Residency Matching Program required.
The application deadline for the 2025-2026 academic year is October 10, 2025. Interview offers will occur on or after Friday, November 7th, 2025, in accordance with the OPDO Website common interview offer program dates, within the country. Interviews for the Cooper Health System Otolaryngology Residency program 2025 are being finalized, but generally occur in December, first or second week. Interviews will be held in-person during the 2025-2026 academic year.

ERAS applications must contain the following information in order for your application to be considered:
- Common application form
- Curriculum vitae
- Medical school transcript
- Three original letters of recommendation
- Dean’s letter (MSPE)
- Personal statement describing your training goals and future career plans
- USMLE reports
- ECFMG certification (if applicable)
Our selection committee consists of the core faculty members. Applicant selection is based on the compilation of the medical student performance (academic, clinical, research), letters of recommendation and interview.
Program Eligibility
Eligibility for the Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program requires graduation from an accredited medical school. Individuals accepted for a position in the program must be U.S. citizen, classified as a resident alien, or hold a J-1 visa.
