Welcome, and thank you for your interest in Cooper Urology! The Urology Residency at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and Cooper University Hospital is a collaborative, supportive program dedicated to training confident, compassionate, and technically excellent urologists. It is an honor to serve as Program Director for a program with such a strong culture of teaching, scholarship, and surgical training. Our residents learn in a mentored environment with graded, progressive autonomy, guided by a diverse faculty across the full breadth of urology. Our residents gain exceptional depth and breadth in clinical and operative urology, including robotic surgery and urologic oncology through our partnership with MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. Weekly didactic conferences, dynamic clinical rotations, meaningful research opportunities, and extensive operative experience form the core of our curriculum. We are proud of our residents and the camaraderie of our program, and are looking for motivated, curious, and dedicated applicants who want to advance our field and become outstanding clinicians and leaders. Thank you for considering Cooper University Hospital Urology Residency Program! We are incredibly proud of the breadth and depth of training our residents receive, with exposure to a diverse patient population and comprehensive experience across the full spectrum of urologic care—from complex urologic oncology and reconstructive surgery to endourology, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, voiding dysfunction, andrology, and general urology. Just as importantly, we take great pride in the culture of our program. Our residents genuinely support one another, forming close relationships and a sense of camaraderie that extends well beyond the operating room. At Cooper, we are committed not only to developing exceptional surgeons and clinicians, but also to supporting each resident as an individual.
