Cooper offers an allopathic hospice and palliative medicine (HPM) fellowship program. Training takes place within the Cooper University Heath System, and through partnerships with area hospices, skilled nursing facilities, and pediatric palliative medicine specialists.
This yearlong experience provides a comprehensive, hands-on education in the science and art of palliative medicine. Our graduates are well prepared for HPM board certification, and for careers as expert practitioners in this expanding field.
Graduates of programs in any of the following specialties are welcome to apply: Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Radiation Oncology, and Surgery.
