Personal Interests: My name is India Jones. I believe beauty and lifestyle play a large role in health and well-being and I think this is what attracted me to plastic & reconstructive surgery. I am interested in general plastics with a focus in aesthetic surgery. Particularly, I would like to focus on resident education in aesthetic surgery. Outside of work, I love to travel, spend time with my husband and our awesome loved ones, bake, and strength-train! My favorite day in the gym is quad-day and my favorite thing to bake from scratch are chocolate chip cookies.

Personal Interests: My name is Matt Delancy. I am from New Jersey through and through! I grew up in South Jersey with an older and younger brother. I attended Villanova University and then began medical school at Cooper’s own affiliate program, CMSRU.
I got married in Newport, RI in Aug 2022 - a favorite place that my wife and I visit.
We have a 4 year old golden retriever named Tucker.
I love all things outdoors: hiking, biking, the Jersey shore, and boating.
In my free time, I enjoy playing pickleball, gardening, doing home improvement projects, and checking out any of the many South Jersey wineries.
Clinically, I have interests in cosmetic breast and body, Mohs reconstruction, and facial plastics. I also enjoy medical ethics and am a member of Cooper Hospital's bioethics committee.

Personal Interests: My name is Joe Bartolacci and I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I am a proud Steelers fan! I lived in Italy for 5 years growing up before moving back to Pittsburgh. After finishing high school, I went to the University of Chicago for undergraduate where I worked in a synthetic chemistry laboratory studying protein engineering. In 2014 I started medical school at Temple University, but took a detour to get my PhD in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh under Stephen Badylak studying skeletal muscle tissue engineering. After finishing medical school, I spent a year in general surgery at Albert Einstein Medical Center before coming to Cooper in 2023. I'm interested in hand surgery, peripheral nerve/brachial plexus injuries, and microsurgery. For fun, my wife and I enjoy traveling, hiking and climbing with our two dogs, and homebrewing beer.

Personal Interests: My name is Shruthi Deivasigamani. I grew up in North Jersey, just outside of New York City. I went to Princeton for undergrad, where I studied creative writing and neuroscience. I lived in New York for a few years after college before moving down to Philadelphia for medical school at Jefferson. My interests in medicine include craniofacial and pediatric plastics, microsurgery, medical ethics, and medical education. I also still do a lot of writing-- both medical and nonmedical! I live in Philadelphia, where my husband and I love trying out new restaurants and breweries.

Personal Interests: My name is Alisa Girard and I grew up in central New Jersey. I graduated from Gettysburg College with a major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a minor in Studio Art. After completing a Master Degree in Biomedical Science at Rutgers University, I attended Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where I co-founded the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Interest Group. Before graduating, I dedicated two years to research at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where I served as a research fellow in the Craniomaxillofacial Research Group and the Vascularized Composite Allotransplantation Lab. As one of the newest plastic surgery residents at Cooper University Health Care, I aim to contribute new research and medical illustrations to the literature. I am pursuing an academic career in plastic surgery, with broad interests that include microsurgery, hand surgery, craniofacial surgery, gender-affirming surgery, medical education, and mentorship. My hobbies include weightlifting, disc golf, film, and art (e.g., cartooning, painting, sculpture).

Personal Interests: My name is Monica Morgenstern. I am originally from Cochabamba, Bolivia and immigrated to the suburbs of Philadelphia with my family when I was eleven years old. With the exception of two years, I’ve spent the majority of my time in Philadelphia since, attending Drexel University for my B.S., M.S, and M.D. degrees. I took a research year in Boston, MA at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where I discovered the expansive field of plastic surgery. Since then I have garnered interest in microsurgery, breast reconstruction, limb salvage and cosmetic facial plastics. Coming from a minority background, I also have a huge interest in health equity and providing comprehensive care to underserved populations.

Outside of work, I love to travel and explore new cities around the world. I am a huge fan of cooking, particularly experimenting with homemade pasta dishes. And lastly, I love to stay active with pilates or any HIIT studios.

Personal Interests: My name is Mauricio Downer Jr., but everyone calls me Mau. I was born in Queens, New York, and raised in Panama for a few years before returning to New York. I attended St. John's University for undergrad, where I majored in chemistry. Before medical school, I worked many jobs: I was a chemistry professor, nurse's aide, cook at Buffalo Wild Wings, bartender, chef, and I even started a tutoring company called "Not YourAverageChemist." During medical school, I created an initiative called "Operation Diversify Plastics," which focuses on introducing the world of plastic surgery to underrepresented students and those without a home program. Before graduating, I completed a year of research at Stanford University, serving as a research fellow in the Hagey Regenerative Medicine Lab. I am passionate about all aspects of plastic surgery, including microsurgery, cosmetics, mentorship, breast reconstruction, and more. I like to say I'm an open book. For fun, I love coming up with new recipes to cook; I can really lose myself in the kitchen.

Personal Interests: My name is Bella Lipkin. I grew up in Michigan (Go Blue!) with a younger brother. I attended Vanderbilt University and studied molecular and cellular biology, with minors in psychology and Spanish. Before medical school I worked as a medical assistant and Spanish interpreter. My interest in public health and health equity drew me to GW for medical school, where I completed a scholarly concentration in Community and Urban Health. I am passionate about all aspects of plastic surgery, and am especially interested in breast reconstruction, microsurgery, and gender affirmation. In my free time, I love spending time with friends, playing volleyball, rock climbing, hiking, painting, and hosting game nights.
